Lakes Hotel and Spa offers a large selection of bedrooms from cosy to superior doubles, beautiful suites with hot tubs for two, family rooms and spa apartments to accommodate up to four adults or a family of six. We have so many variations available, please call to speak to a member of our reservations team to discuss the best room, suite, or spa apartment for you.
Most standard and superior double rooms can have an extra bed put into them at an additional charge. You must contact the hotel direct to arrange an extra bed in your room.
Our rooms and suites with hot tubs are adult only for two persons, except for one suite only, our exterior suite for four guests. Extra beds are not permitted in any room or suite with a hot tub.
Many of our rooms have views across the gardens and trees. For a supplement, a view of Lake Windermere can be arranged. Others have views over the hotel reception and spa.
Our exterior rooms and apartments are located within the main spa building, drop your bags, don your robes and slippers and stroll into the spa for a glass of prosecco.
Our unique exterior rooms and two bedroom apartments over two levels accommodating two to four guests are simpler than hotel bedrooms. Whichever you choose you’ll find relaxing living area with 48 inch TV.
Our two bedroom apartments over two levels offer one double bedroom with king or super king bed, and one twin bedroom with two single beds. Please note the bedrooms in our two bedroom apartments are built into the eaves, so please take care as head height may be limited.
A number of rooms and apartments have special features such as built in beds, please ask what yours will look like!
Some exterior rooms and apartments have direct access into the spa which is included in your stay so you can relax on the poolside in the robes and slippers provided with a glass of prosecco or in one of the two feature hot tubs, then head back to your apartment and relax in the beautiful bed linens after freshening up in your en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath or a small shower room only.
Linen and towels provided are for your apartment stay, however we will provide one linen and towel change after a five-night stay. Not all apartment’s have kitchens but some do include a kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge and some include an oven and hob but most guests tend to use the hotel for breakfast in the morning, light snacks and evening meals. Tea and coffee facilities are included for your arrival and a pint of milk is in the fridge to get you started.
Our reception and concierge will be happy to help you plan your day. You also have the added benefit of being within the grounds of the hotel with our own on-site private car park, which is free when making your accommodation reservations direct with the hotel’s reservations team or at www.lakeshotel.co.uk.
Apartments and exterior rooms offer no views as the access to this accommodation is from the car park, however the hotel lounge, cocktail bar and restaurants offer views of the gardens and lake.
En-suite bathrooms offer a shower room only or a shower over over the bath, others have a bath and a separate shower cubicle.
